Mechanical Construction Manager

Our client, a global leading general contractor, are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to take charge of mechanical works on mission-critical data centre projects in Frankfurt.

Responsibilities: 

As a Mechanical Construction Manager, you will be the key link between the design team, subcontractors, and site operations for all mechanical systems. Your focus will be on:

• Coordinating mechanical installations: HVAC, plumbing, cooling systems, and fire protection, ensuring alignment with the overall project strategy.
• Ensuring quality, safety, and compliance: Monitor execution to meet local regulations, safety protocols, and industry best practices.
• Managing schedules and budgets: Track progress, address challenges, and maintain efficiency across resources and timelines.
• Leading the on-site team: Guide mechanical subcontractors and teams to deliver safe, high-quality work.

Qualifications: 

• Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.
• Experience: 5+ years in a similar role on complex construction projects.
• Technical expertise: Solid understanding of HVAC systems, fire protection, and cooling technology.
• Languages: Fluent in German and English.
• Work style: Hands-on, collaborative, and passionate about delivering high-performance buildings. Strong communication and coordination skills are a must.
